I find a trick to help me write at least 500 words a day is to just sit down, read the last paragraph of the day before, and then write just one paragraph, illuminating what went on before.
Doing that is like priming the pump usually, and I get going for a page more. And if the muse hits, I get to two or three pages.
That makes up for when I can only do one page. It averages out.
I have been writing stories since I was old enough to hold a pencil. I have always wanted to publish a novel so this is my goal. I will spend the next year or so writing my first novel draft for eventual submission (after lots of revisions lol). I hope you will follow on my journey and give me encouragement! Here's to publishing!

Hope that this helps, Roland
